Grace Creek Media is an Annapolis-based “production, distribution and management company” that has featured a number of programs closely associated with neoconservatives and other rightist factions.[1] It was the publisher of TCSDaily (formerly Tech Central Station), an online journal that served as a platform for a number of prominent foreign policy hawks; it produced the now-defunct PBS show Think Tank, hosted by Ben Wattenberg, a scholar based at the American Enterprise Institute; and was the co-producer, with the George W. Bush Institute, of Ideas in Action, a Sunday morning show about “ideas and their consequences” hosted by former George W. Bush administration official James Glassman, a well-known conservative political talk show figure.
The president of Grace Creek Media is Andrew Walworth, a media entrepreneur who founded New River Media and has produced a number of PBS documentaries. As of 2017, the Vice President of Production is John Sorensen, a former documentary producer for TLC and A&E television. [2]
Grace Creek Media also helped produce the 2009 documentary “Fighting Words: A Tale of How Liberals Created Neo-Conservatism,” which is based on Ben Wattenberg’s political memoir of the same title. Among those interviewed in the documentary are Patrick Buchanan, Midge Decter, E.J. Dionne, Francis Fukuyama, Christopher Hitchens, Joshua Muravchik, James Q. Wilson, and James Woolsey.[3]
Other Grace Creek Media productions have included Sportskool, an on-demand cable sports network that provides “expert instruction and coaching for a wide range of sports and athletic activities”; Closer to Truth, a TV series exploring the existence of god; and Project Happiness, a feature length documentary that “follows a senior high school class from Mount Madonna School near Watsonville, California, on a journey to discover the true nature of human happiness.”[4]
